I’m Giacomo (pronounced JA-CO-MOE). I’m from the seaside state of Rhode Island, I lived in Brooklyn for a long time, and now reside upstate on the Hudson River. My work explores themes of masculinity, American subcultures, and the bizarreness prevalent in our everyday lives.
I am a lover of heavy metal, all things Italian, swimming in the cold North Atlantic, beer by bonfires, anything historical or scientific, and, of course, graphic t-shirts.
When I'm not on assignment or traveling, you can find me teaching photography at the Maryland Institute College of Art, cooking, shredding on my arsenal of guitars, and chilling with my super wife, Allyssa, and our comically overweight cat, Velvet.
